Pegasus - By Robin McKinley

Waiting-Impatiently-For this book to arrive on my door step. After several hours on Goodreads.com, I spent searching for a promising Pegasus story, I came across this book. Although, recently, my books of choice have been YA paranormal romance, of which I hope that this book falls under this category as well.
According to the back of the book:
"A gorgeously-written fantasy about the friendship between a princess and her pegasus.
Because of a thousand-year-old alliance between humans and pegasi, Princess Sylviianel is ceremonially bound to Ebon, her own pegasus, on her twelfth birthday. The two species coexist peacefully, despite the language barriers separating them. Humans and pegasi both rely on specially-trained Speaker magicians as the only means of real communication.
But it’s different for Sylvi and Ebon. They can understand each other. They quickly grow close—so close that their bond becomes a threat to the status quo—and possibly to the future safety of their two nations."
Can you imagine? A world were a girl and her horse are so in tune with one another that they can actually read one another's minds? Now, many ladies out there might say that they clearly have a special bond with their horse one way or another. I myself, can admit to having shared something magical between my APHA Annie. Even more so, once I saved her life shortly after her birth. But, that is not here nor there.
Although, this book doesn't relay to much about a possible love triangle or impending death, I'm certain that there will be plenty of cliff-hangers enclosed within that amazing cover.
